Open position: Shipping Clerk

Yetter Manufacturing is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team in Macomb, Illinois. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you! In this role, you'll help ensure customer orders are accurately prepared, documented, and shipped safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

Verify customer orders for accuracy, including quantities, destinations, and shipping requirements
Retrieve, pack, prepare, and load finished goods according to order specifications
Generate and attach shipping labels, packing slips, and required shipping documentation
Ensure all products are properly labeled and ready for shipment
Record and track outbound shipments using scanning equipment and computer systems
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and move shipments

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong attention to detail along with clerical mathematical, and organizational skills
Basic Computer Skills including Microsoft Office and typing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
Ability to become forklift certified and retain forklift license
Ability to pass pre-employment screening

Role Specifics

First Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday plus required overtime as scheduled
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying seasonal temperatures, noise, machinery, and other typical factory conditions.
Physically active position requiring standing for the duration of the shift, repetitive work, and regular lifting up to 50lbs.
