Yetter Manufacturing is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead our engineering team in Macomb, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys leading people, managing projects, solving technical challenges, and driving innovation in a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise, mentor, and provide direction to the engineering team
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and budget objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support for complex engineering challenges
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
• Communicate project updates, changes, and status reports to leadership and stakeholders
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to address project needs, resolve conflicts, and align objectives.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field
• Experience leading engineering projects and cross-functional teams
• Previous engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to motivate, train, develop, and supervise personnel
• Ability to effectively operate engineering and manufacturing-related tools and equipment
• Proficiency with CREO, Microsoft Office, and other applicable software
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Technical knowledge of agricultural equipment and manufacturing processes
• Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening

 

 

Role Specifics

• First Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, plus required overtime as scheduled
• Primarily office-based with regular interaction in production, R&D, and testing environments
• Occasional travel between facilities and field-testing locations
• Self-motivated and capable of leading multiple projects, managing competing priorities, and meeting deadlines
