The 2968-031 Rear-Mount Dual Tube Fertilizer Kit for Closing Wheels is a simple, rear-mounted application solution that helps protect your planter investment. It mounts directly to your closing wheel tailpiece, minimizing exposure to potentially corrosive fertilizers while placing fertilizer approximately two inches from each side of the seed row.

By dribbling fertilizer over the closed seed furrow, the system promotes balanced early season nutrient availability while reducing the potential for fertilizer contact with expensive planter parts—like gauge wheels, parallel linkage components, and disc opener bearings—as well as front-mounted row unit attachments like row cleaners.
