New Yetter Air Assist Cylinder Available for Row Cleaners

Making row cleaner adjustments matters during planting. By enabling quicker, easier adjustments from your tractor seat, the 2967-0001 Air Assist Cylinder from Yetter Farm Equipment adds this functionality to new or existing floating row cleaners.

“You can order just the Air Assist Cylinders to upgrade an existing compatible row cleaner setup, or you can choose to order Air Assists with new floating row cleaners,” explained Yetter Territory/AOR Manager Andy Thompson. “Making adjustments based on your field conditions results in better row cleaner performance and sets you up for uniform crop emergence, leading to higher yields. Through our extensive dealer network, Yetter is excited to put this latest profitable solution to work for farmers around the country.”  

The Air Assist Cylinder system utilizes three main components:

• The Air Assist is a repairable cylinder with high-quality internal seals and external scrapers. Durability features include a stainless steel rod in the cylinder to prevent corrosion and a phosphor bronze alloy scraper to protect the seals from moisture and debris. When the time comes, cost-efficient internal seal repair kits are available.
• The Yetter in-cab control box is compact and offers excellent visibility. It allows up and down pressure to be controlled at the same time, resulting in better overall control of the row cleaners and eliminating the bounce that results when only one pressure can be adjusted at a time. The control box also features a quick raise-and-lower button function.
• Air can be supplied through electric or hydraulic compressors. Farmers can use an existing onboard compressor or order a compressor setup from Yetter. Yetter offers three easy-to-install options: 2- and 12-gallon electric compressors or a 12-gallon hydraulic compressor.
