"Hunt Farms has been using the Magnum for nearly a decade to side-dress corn at 8–10 mph between the V2 and V6 stages. “We decided on the Magnum because it allows us to get nitrogen to the plant during the growing season in a short window of time. Side-dressing 4,000 acres each year, we need a product that is durable and that has the ability to run at higher speeds with low disturbance. The Magnum is exactly that,” said Glade Mason. “Yetter worked with us on testing the new 10,000 Magnum. The new design came with some very nice features. The addition of the walking tandem wheel made the small amount of disturbance by the closing wheel nonexistent. Also, the new all-cast design will improve longevity.”
