As a Janitor, you’ll play an important role in maintaining our facilities and supporting a safe, organized work environment for our employees. What You’ll Do

Sweep and mop floors and dust and wipe down assigned areas
Empty and dispose of trash throughout assigned areas
Clean and disinfect restrooms
Clean microwaves and maintain breakroom areas
Monitor and stock restroom and breakroom supplies
Report items requiring maintenance or repair
Operate a mechanical floor sweeper in the main aisles of production areas
Clean areas and respond to emergent cleaning needs, including areas that may be contaminated with blood and/or body fluids

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous janitorial or related experience preferred
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to work at either our Macomb or Colchester location and rotate between locations as assigned
Ability to safely operate a mechanical floor sweeper
Ability to read and interpret instructions, labels, and hazard symbols
Ability to pass pre-employment screening

Role Specifics

First Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday plus required overtime as scheduled
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying seasonal temperatures, noise, machinery, and other typical factory conditions
Physically active position requiring standing and walking for the majority of the shift and lifting up to 50 lbs
