The Yetter Story - Innovation for Increased Profits
| Generations of your family have been helped by generations
of our family. That's because we've been finding solutions for
farmers since 1930, when Harry and Etta Yetter opened a small machine
shop in rural Illinois. Customers came to us from all over the
Midwest to buy our wheel cleaners that removed mud from metal tractor
wheels.
From there, we expanded the product line of cultiguards,
coulters and eventually, to the full line of products you see
today in this catalog.
We are still a family-owned business, now in the fourth generation.
Yetter is the recognized national leader in direct-seeding and
no-till technology.
We are focused on continuing as the leader in preparing the perfect seedbed
with planter attachments, precision fertilizer placement and bulk seed handling
solutions.
And each day, our team works with innovative farmers and other agribusiness's,
answering the call for even more efficiency and cost effectiveness. Yetter

For getting through tough corn-on-corn residue, Blaine Barrett counts on Titan residue
managers with SharkTooth® wheels from Yetter Manufacturing.
"The units bolted very smoothly onto the NH3 shanks we were using, and the floating
feature allows the unit to keep contact with the ground all the time,"said Blaine. "They got through heavy corn-on-corn residue in the fall with no problems preparing about 3,000 acres for this spring’s planting."
Blaine made some adjustments to the units to keep them from running too deep. "The
adjustments were easy enough to make, and overall the durability has been fine."
