Jeff Hendershot, a salesman for dealership Wiatt Companies, Inc., saw much better seed placement this year because he added spiked closing wheels from Yetter to his planting line-up. “My old closing wheels were shot, and I have a customer who really liked how his Yetter wheels worked in wet soils.”
Jeff attached the spiked closing wheels to his John Deere 7000 6-row planter in about 6 hours. “The wheels from Yetter closed the furrow well, and I got better seed placement as a result. There is no comparison between the Yetter wheels and my previous set. So far, they are very durable and I am very satisfied.”
