SystemsOne
- a Yetter Company - unveils its new Seed Jet II with Hydraulic
Power bulk seed handling unit.
"The Seed
Jet II is the heart of a system that enhances productivity by eliminating
the time wasted handling seed bags," says Derek Litchfield,
Research and Development Specialist for Yetter. "The hydraulic
unit takes that further by eliminating the need for a gasoline engine
to power the unit."
Litchfield points
out that, because it runs on existing hydraulic power sources, the
hydraulic Seed Jet II delivers results from a small, compact power
unit that can be permanently mounted on a planter or drill, eliminating
the need for separate transport of the unit and allowing permanent
hydraulic hose connections. He also notes that the direct drive
operation means that there are no belts or pulleys to adjust.
"It's just
an easier, more efficient way to power the Seed Jet II," observes
Litchfield. "It costs much less because there's no engine to
buy - and there's no engine maintenance later. Operation is easier,
too. Just quick-couple the air supply hose between the blower and
airlock, turn the hydraulic lever, and you're in business."
The hydraulic
Seed Jet II requires only a 12-gpm hydraulic supply for operation,
and features a pressure regulator to ensure maximum seed flow under
a range of hydraulic pressures.
Litchfield says
that, as with the motor-driven Seed Jet II, the hydraulic version
is proven safe on soybean, corn, wheat, edible beans, rice or cotton
seed. It saves time, cuts costs and reduces the hassle of handling
heavy bags. The blower's airstream enters the air lock and the seed
slides through a flexible, 35-foot stainless steel hose until it
enters a decelerator that gently swirls it into a planter or drill
box.
In addition
to the Seed Jet II, the SystemsOne system includes a variety of
Seed Jet II options and accessories, plus a wide range of bulk seed
storage and transport equipment.
Established
in 1930 and based in Colchester, Illinois, Yetter Manufacturing
Company is the industry leader in planter attachments that boost
productivity and profitability. Yetter makes a variety of coulters,
residue managers, precision fertilizer placement products, markers
and bulk seed handling devices.

new SystemsOne Seed Jet II with Hydraulic Power adds
simplicity to the efficiency of this bulk seed handling system.
Running on existing hydraulic power, the compact unit mounts
right on the planter or drill. It cuts cost because there's
no engine to purchase or maintain while maintaining all the
advantages of the Seed Jet II - especially filling speed and
seed quality protection. The Seed Jet II is proven safe for
soybean, corn, wheat, edible beans, rice or cotton seed. |
