New Generation Coulter from Yetter

Farmers who need more coulter downpressure for faster field speeds and consistent cutting depth can find all these benefits with the Generation III™ Coulter from Yetter.

The Generation III™ is a combination of a traditional spring mechanism and revolutionary new poly plastic spring insert. During field operation when the downpressure spring reaches 40% compression, the poly plastic spring insert begins to compress. The result is a momentary boost in downpressure to allow the blade to continue cutting in the toughest field conditions.

"We call this the Generation III™ Coulter because it provides three distinct benefits: more downpressure, higher speeds and rugged durability for demanding conditions," said Gene Chenoweth of the Yetter Research and Development Department. "It's clearly the most powerful coulter in the field."

In operation, the spring cushions the assembly to prevent damage from rocks and other unforeseen obstructions in the field. Each model is designed to maximize this spring deflection to ensure long life and top-notch performance year after year.

The Yetter Generation III™ Coulter provides
field-hugging downpressure for faster
field speeds in close spacing operations.

A large selection of coulter blades is available for any particular farming operation. Blades can be custom fit to soil type, implement size, and the type of job. The Generation III™ Coulter will accommodate up to a 22" diameter blade.

In addition to the spring assembly, a large hub bolt pattern provides greater strength and stability as it allows the coulter to evenly distribute shock loads over the large 5 1/4 inch coulter blade bolt circle. Other long-life, coulter strengthening features include a heavy-duty gusseted hub, 1 1/4 inch spindle with tapered roller bearings, grease seal, grade five bolts and a grease zerk to keep the Generation III™ Coulter rolling for a lifetime.

Yetter offers the industry's largest selection of coulters, coulter blades and fertilizer coulters for cost-saving one pass farming efficiency. A wide selection of mounting brackets are available to fit the most popular toolbar and frames. Whatever punishment your field has to offer, Yetter coulters can take it! That's another profitable solution from Yetter.
