The second model in the lineup of the all-new Titan Series mounts
directly to the faceplate of the planter unit. The real benefits
are faster soil warm up and elimination of row unit bounce for
proper seed placement, which set the stage for better seed emergence.
Quicker uniform emergence is what drives yield potential for
a rapid Return On Investment. For double duty operations the
Titan provides ample space to mount a wide range of attachments
directly to the face of the planter unit such as no-till coulters
and fertilizer openers. All Titan models are constructed of
high yielding steel, the heavy duty 2.5” residue manager
arms have field proven strength and durability to keep the 13”
heat treated residue manager wheels running through the toughest
and most severe residue conditions. Depending on soil types
and amount of residue the residue manager wheels can be set
to customer preference to run one wheel leading, parallel or
interlocked. A Titan exclusive feature is each model can be
adjusted to float over the soil surface or be locked down for
positive wheel traction in tough residue conditions. Adjustments
can be made from the side of the row unit to set the range of
float or operational depth. To assist during adjustment lift
handles are conveniently located on both sides of the Titan.
Optional floater wheels can be added for additional depth control
in the floating mode. All the benefits and features of the new
Titan Series add up to more acres being planted each day.
