One
of the challenges facing those who practice conservation tillage
involves selecting the attachments that will match the clearance
window on a particular planter and thus maximize their productivity.
The Yetter Manufacturing Company announces additions to its on-line
Buyers Guide, at www.yetterco.com, that make proper selection easier
than ever.
New to the Buyers
Guide are Kinze 3000 Series planter models and a number of additional
dimensional drawings, including those for the Space Saver coulter
and the spike closing wheels.
"The whole
purpose of the Buyers Guide," according to Yetter Service Technician
Jim Lascelles, "is to eliminate uncertainty and wasted time
in equipment selection. It makes it easy to identify the right Yetter
part number by planter manufacturer, number of rows and row spacing."
The range of John Deere, White, Case/IH, Kinze and Monosem planters
are included.
Pages are organized
by planter make and model, which are listed and linked on a Contents
page, and they cite Yetter dry and liquid fertilizer coulters with
standard and side profile knives. "The user is never more than
a click or two away from the right page," says Lascelles.
Lascelles notes
that the Buyers Guide also includes other helpful features, including
data and drawings on coulter blade options and on set-ups that clarify
proper planter height and fertilizer knife adjustments.
