for JD 1590 / 1690 / 1890 / 1560 no-till openers. The
Angle Tooth Closing System provides a return on investment
by eliminating sidewall compaction, which encourages
root development, the foundation of yield. A unique,
thin, backswept angled tooth allows for easy soil penetration
resulting in improved seed furrow closing.
Loosened
soil created by the churning action of the 12-tooth wheel
improves seed-to-soil contact. Plus the added benefit
of preventing soil around the seed from drying out assuring
maximum germination. Faster, uniform emergence, coupled
with optimum root growth are the key ingredients for improved
yield potential.
An
added feature of this innovative wheel design is the ability
of the tapered tooth to disperse mud or residue to avoid
