2967 Series Frame Mounted Residue Manager
Clearing your rows for quicker dry out and faster warm up.
Perfect For Strip Till

Production agriculture requires equipment that provides an immediate return on investment. Here’s how you can get a bigger return on investment with the New 2967 Series Frame Mounted Residue Manager.

Fertilizer applicators equipped with the 2967 Series Frame Mounted Residue Manager can start earlier and run later in the day because the residue wheels move damp residue out of the way creating a clear residue free strip. Bunching or balling up of residue is eliminated. Moving residue ahead of fertilizer applicator shanks is a key ingredient for covering more acres per day and capturing a better return. Spring loaded to float over the soil terrain, the Residue Manager’s and amount of residue it will remove is adjustable.

By mounting the Residue Manager to frame and independent of the shanks, the entire weight of the implement is available for down pressure to keep the Residue Manager wheels turning in tough residue conditions. In the spring, the cleared strip is easier to find, and the row dries out and warms up faster than a similar row covered with residue.

Contrary to some opinions on residue management, a Residue Manager’s sole purpose is to move residue only. It should never work the soil. When a residue manager engages the soil, it throws valuable topsoil and pre-applied herbicides into the middle of the row where it’s no use to your crop. Another negative effect caused when engaging the soil is "trenching", when the residue manager creates a trench during operation. After a heavy rain, water will collect in this trench and rush down the row taking topsoil, fertilizers, pre-applied herbicides, and possibly even seeds with it.

The Residue Manager wheel is designed to provide maximum residue moving power. The 16 fingers on the Yetter Residue Manager wheel are laser cut to preserve the strong temper of the steel. Each finger is wider at the base for strength and tapered to a broad, slanted point to remove residue with clean strokes parallel to the ground. Each wheel is heat treated for additional durability.

The Residue Manager hub uses four carriage bolts with smooth heads to eliminate residue snagging. Interior and exterior seals protect the double row of heavy-duty greaseable bearings. The bolt-on hubcap stays in place and keeps dirt out. The Yetter Residue Manager is the strongest wheel system in the industry.

Now in its 71st year, Yetter offers the industry’s largest selection of Residue Management Products for cost-saving, one pass farming efficiency. A wide selection of mounting brackets is available to fit the most popular fertilizer, planter, and tillage toolbars and frames. That’s another profitable solution from Yetter.

It also reduces the chance of the marker getting caught on fence posts, trees or power lines. Adding Yetter markers extends the life of existing equipment helping to provide a quicker return on investment.

Yetter markers are built tough to provide long lasting reliability in heavy residue conditions. Marker arms are constructed with reinforced tubular steel for added strength and durability.
