Yetter Manufacturing’s 2960/2967 Titan™ residue manager and coulter combination for CNH planters has long been a favorite for producers because it manages residue successfully in tough conditions and performs light tillage. Now, a new Titan design features a narrower frame assembly to allow more room for the planter’s lift wheels to operate.

“Yetter is committed to continuously improving its products. Even this comparatively small design upgrade means a big step up for producers using CNH planters,” said Lonnie Lucas of the Yetter product development department.

The redesigned Titan and 2960 coulter combination still offers the same unparalleled, in-field adjustment feature that make all Titans operator-friendly. “The QuikAdjust™ is a field-proven Yetter exclusive,” said Lucas. “The depth-adjustment control can be easily accessed on the side of the Titan. This puts a wide range of depth increments at producers’ fingertips.”

Several adjustment increments mean the residue manager’s depth can be more precisely tuned to match field and residue conditions. The accessibility of the adjustment mechanism coupled with quicker adjustments results in more acres planted per day.

This model can be set to float over the soil surface or, in tougher residue conditions, can be locked down for positive wheel traction. The Titan’s unique, narrow-profile wheel positioning controls the amount of residue moved, and high-strength steel arms firmly hold the residue manager’s wheels. Even the toughest residue is moved without affecting adjoining rows.
