Yetter
Max Sealer Plus™ Now Available with
SharkTooth® Attachment
Yetter Manufacturing Company
knows that the field and soil conditions of
each grower’s production agriculture operation
vary, and different types of sealers are required
to meet these unique needs. Yetter offers a
wide assortment of sealing options and is proud
to introduce a new option—a SharkTooth® wheel—for
its Max Sealer Plus™.
Growers overwhelmingly
choose disc sealers as their preferred sealing
option, and the Max Sealer Plus™ from
Yetter Manufacturing has all the features and
flexibility necessary to make it an indispensable
part of any production agriculture lineup. “The
Max Sealer Plus closes seed trenches by moving
residue and loose soil over the channel created
by the openers,” said Derek Allensworth,
Yetter sales representative.
Now, the additional
option of a straight blade increases the usability
of the Max Sealer Plus™. “Growers
like how the SharkTooth® wheel performs
is tough conditions—the design eliminates
buildup,” said Derek. “Straight
blades on the Max Sealer Plus accomplish the
same objective as our other blades: closing
of the trench, which is critical in preventing
the loss of manure, fertilizer, and valuable
soil and nutrients due to erosion.”
In
addition to the new straight blades, the Max
Sealer Plus™ is available with several
other blade options, including smooth or notched
18-inch concave blades, and 13 shallow-wave
and 8-wave blades. Growers can select the blade
best suited for their operation. In addition,
the Max Sealer Plus works well in conjunction
with Yetter Manufacturing Company’s original
SharkTooth design.
“Growers like the
SharkTooth wheels or wavy blades options on
the Max Sealer Plus as a less aggressive closing
system. The smooth or notched 18-inch concave
blades are designed to move more residue and
soil,” said Derek.
