New Low Profile Design Improves Screw Adjust Residue Manager for Case New Holland Planters

CNH recently introduced a new down-pressure system on its planters and Yetter has adapted its CNH-compatible Screw Adjust design to accommodate this change. The result is a CNH Screw Adjust with a smaller knob and a new, lower profile.

“The mounting system for this Screw Adjust also adds clearance to adapt to the new CNH design,” said Jim Lascelles, Yetter service representative. The new Screw Adjust residue manager for CNH planters offers the same, precise depth control and exclusive self-detent adjustment handle. This unique feature provides constant, accurate depth control, which promises acre after acre of unparalleled residue management.

A depth indicator ensures a uniform depth setting for each row across the planter. The self-detent handle also means working depth can be easily adjusted to remove varying amounts of residue depending on the condition.

Because the Yetter Screw Adjust easily adapts to all soil conditions, it is the perfect combination for big planters in today’s production agriculture industry. With the Screw Adjust, you can fine tune your residue manager and adjust in 1/16” increments. The residue manager features a hex-adjust screw that accommodates a 7/8” socket wrench to speed adjustment, which can be extremely beneficial when shifting from conventional to notill soil conditions.

Less time adjusting equals more acres planted each day. According to Jim, “This unit is quick to adjust in the field, dramatically reducing adjustment down time. You can adjust the entire planter and be back in the cab in a matter of minutes.”
