“My fertilizer dealer suggested I add
Yetter SharkTooth® Wheels to my fertilizer
applicator to move residue and prepare for
corn-on-corn application. They not only threw
corn residue out of the way, but were a huge
asset on soybean stubble as well. They left
a nice black strip to plant into next year.”

“The residue managers from Yetter Manufacturing
worked extremely well. I had gone through the
field with a chisel plow, and went back to
break up clods and heavy trash using the SharkTooth® Wheels.
No matter how heavy the trash got, there was
no balling-up behind the wheels. I know these
products saved my neighbor a pass with the
chisel plow and possibly two additional passes
through the field, and I will save money because
I will save a pass in the spring. I am always
very satisfied with any equipment I get from
Yetter.”

Still
the Toughest Residue Manager on the Market—the
New 10" SharkTooth® Wheel
When Yetter Manufacturing introduced the
13” SharkTooth® wheel, a new era
in residue management began. Now, with the
development of the 10” SharkTooth Wheel,
Yetter proves that smaller still means outstanding
performance.
The 10” SharkTooth Wheel handles residue
with the same authority as the 13” version,
but is designed to operate in applications
where there are space restraints. Now, more
producers than ever can take advantage of
the benefits of a product designed by a company
with 50 years of experience in residue management.
The SharkTooth is the perfect match to
tackle the toughest conditions. The 10” wheel
is strong enough to take on the residue left
from bio-tech corn hybrids such as BT and
rootworm-resistant varieties. It is also
the perfect choice to manage the additional
residue left in corn-on-corn acres and optimize
yield potential.
Designed like a shark’s teeth, backward-sloped
extensions with sharp-cutting edges grab
and completely sever residue for easier removal.
Operated in the same vertical position as
its fingered wheel counterpart, the SharkTooth
constantly has a cutting edge in contact
with the soil surface to cleanly cut residue
with minimal soil disturbance. This design
incorporates the sharp cutting edge of the
furrow opener disc but eliminates the undesirable
plowing action of the concave blade.
