Now, Yetter is introducing
an injection kit for coulters to enhance
application tools. The injector has an exclusive
design that allows the tip to pivot and aim
a fertilizer stream directly at the trench
cut by the coulter. Pinpoint placement through
an aimed stream eliminates the chance of
splashing and fertilizer waste.
P clamps
are used to hold the injector and fertilizer
tubing securely in place. Because the injector
does not come in contact with the soil, there
is minimal wear. Even dirt or crop residue
released by the coulter blade cannot build
up on the injector tip—an innovative
shield integrated into the new design prevents
it.
A support arm protects the fertilizer
tube from being snagged by crop residue.
In addition, the support arm holds the fertilizer
tube away from rotating blades, so it will
not be cut.
Like all Yetter products, the
injector kit is designed to fit the needs
of as many producers as possible. It is effective
in all tillage systems. The injector kit
is designed to couple with any Yetter coulter
with arm specifications of three-quarters
of an inch by three inches. The kit can also
be utilized with the 2930 straight shank
and 2950 offset shank Yetter coulter designs.
