Like
all Yetter residue management products with
concave discs, a staggered mounting assures
100% removal of residue. This configuration
places the first disc in a leading position,
which severs and relocates a portion of the
residue. The second disc is tucked slightly
behind the lead disc to complete the residue
removal from in front of the planter row
unit. This field-proven disc arrangement
assures unparalleled residue management.
Multi-Notched
Discs are made from boron steel, the preferred
material for high-wear conditions in which
some soil removal is desirable or for when
light tillage is required. Each disc is mounted
on a heavy-duty cast iron hub that features
a greaseable double-row ball bearing for
extended service life.
Residue managers equipped with the Multi-Notched
Discs are available to fit most popular
planters and come with pin or screw-adjust
height adjustment. Each model is built tough
to take on extreme residue conditions and
can also be used to clear a path ahead of
fertilizer openers and other applications.
