Titan™ Residue Manager equipped NH3
applicators can start earlier and keep going
when residue is tough or damp, saving valuable
time. By stretching the length of daily operation,
productivity is increased resulting in more
acres covered. The TitanTM is the perfect
match for problem-free operation.
The floating design of the Titan™ allows
the residue manager wheels to hug the soil
surface and effectively move the required
amount of residue. It can also be locked
down for extreme conditions, and its high-strength
steel arms hold wheels fi rmly to take on
the toughest residue.
One of the benefits of the Titan™ is
the consistent clearing of residue ahead
of the shank, preventing residue from building
up on the shank or freezing to the knife.
An added bonus of the residue-free zone is
improved performance of the sealing discs.
This is particularly advantageous in strip
till operations where a uniform berm of soil
is required. In addition, the residue-free
strip made prior to planting allows the soil
to dry and warm more quickly, allowing for
an earlier planting start date.
