2910 Heavy Duty Coulter

Introducing the latest innovation in coulter tillage from Yetter Manufacturing Company: the 2910 Heavy-Duty Coulter. This unit has 55% more vertical travel and features more spring downpressure than the standard 2910 models.

With 1,025 pounds of maximum downpressure, tough residue is no match for the 2910 Heavy-Duty Coulter. Its powerful blade choices slice through residue in the most severe conditions, and there is ample room for residue flow. In addition to providing downpressure, the adjustable spring allows the coulter to react to obstacles, protecting it from damages.

Limited mounting space is not a problem with the 2910 Heavy-Duty Coulter. Its compact design permits mounting in the closest spaces. This system takes up less room in front of soil engaging tools such as chisel plow and NH3 shanks, making it easier to integrate residue managers into tillage operations. Mounting brackets are available to fit most toolbar sizes.

The backbone of the 2910 Heavy-Duty Coulter is a 1.5” hardened steel mounting shank coupled with a spring pivot casting. The spring pivot casting mounted on the high strength shank holds the coulter in working position. This provides the foundation for transferring the additional downpressure. Also, the shank is used for depth control and blade wear adjustments, making this a very versatile coulter.

Field reliability is the hallmark of the Yetter hub design. All coulter hubs are manufactured with a larger bolt pattern, so shock loads are more evenly distributed.
