Better stalk stance with Screw Adjust Residue Managers
Categories: Residue Managers
Doug Gronau experienced high winds that flattened parts of his corn to the ground. Because of the damage, he was not able to harvest the flattened stalks; therefore, come planting season, Gronau planted directly into the mangled stalks without any tillage. Gronau was impressed with his Yetter 2967-063 Short Screw Adjust Floating Row Cleaners' performance. The residue managers allowed him to plant evenly, regardless of the residue conditions. In addition to the even seed placement in tough conditions, by adding Yetter residue managers to all 15" rows in his planter, Gronau lowered his seeding rates for soybeans and achieved better stalk stance than before.
