Field Service Specialist

 

Open position: field service specialist

 

Responsibilities

  • Advises dealers and customers on product application, maintenance, and adjustments and responds to performance and reliability issues
  • Provides technical support to dealers and customers for all products
  • Responsible for new equipment warranty and update programs
  • Works in the field to troubleshoot, diagnose, and document service issues and train dealer personnel
  • Remains current with product technology to ensure ongoing ability to troubleshoot and repair various products and instruct others
  • Reviews, analyzes, and processes dealer failed-part warranty requests
  • Creates and presents service training programs and supporting training aids and materials

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) for interaction with customers and team members, including the ability to maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, customers, and dealers
  • A constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
  • Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows, Windows applications, and ERP system
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to changing situations or customer and dealer needs and requests

 

Education/experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Mechanics, Agricultural Engineering, or closely related technical field
  • Two years of experience with agricultural equipment
