Farmers have
total flexibility in seed handling with the new vacuum system for
the Seed Jet II™ bulk seed handling system from SystemsOne, a Yetter
company.
The Seed Jet
II™ uses a powerful stream of air to gently move seed from a bulk
storage container to a planter or drill. Seed Jet II™ options also
let farmers use the system with bulk seed boxes and large seed bags
(Seed Box Train™ and Seed Box Partner™, or in self-contained storage
and retrieval systems (Seed Partner™ and Seed Station™.)
The new vacuum
system easily attaches to the blower air intake side of the Seed
Jet II™ and facilitates the vacuum action. Seed is then gathered
in a heavy duty plastic container which is included in the vacuum
system option.
“The Seed Jet
II™ vacuum system completes the cycle of total seed handling flexibility,”
said Gene Chenoweth of the Yetter Research and Development Department.
“We designed the vacuum attachments with quick-release couplers
and hoses for ease of operation. This allows farmers to switch seed
by emptying boxes quickly when there is seed remaining in the boxes.”
The vacuum system
is one of several options available for the Seed Jet II™ line of
products from SystemsOne. Other options include a radio remote controller
to start and stop the flow of seed, a hopper cover, a quick coupler
hose, a cyclone stand and dust reduction system.
SystemsOne
is a subsidiary of Yetter. Now in its 70th year, Yetter is the industry
leader in conservation tillage, direct seeding, and bulk seed handling
technology.
