The MaximizerTM Bulk Seed Conveyor
is the perfect solution to keeping big planters rolling.
Utilizing an 8” Z-top conveyor belt, seed gently speeds
along making seed refills fast and extremely efficient. In
addition belt conveyors are gentler on the seed, last
longer and require less maintenance than auger bulk
seed handling equipment.
On board capacity of up to 4 Seed Boxes provides ample seed
supply to plant several acres speeding up the planting process.
Another real benefit of the MaximizerTM is one-person
operation, which helps to reduce the spring labor crunch.
All that is required of the operator is to simply direct
the seed discharge chute and turn the seed flow on and off,
the MaximizerTM does
the rest. Seed flow control is conveniently positioned on
the seed discharge chute for easy operation and operator
comfort. In some operations the reduction of labor costs
alone could offset the investment in a MaximizerTM.
Utilizing an all steel welded frame design the MaximizerTM is
built for years of reliable service. Mounted inside the center
of the frame directly under the seed boxes is a horizontal
belt conveyor, which moves the seed to the inclined unloading
conveyor. This eliminates having to raise the seed boxes
for adequate seed flow resulting in a lower center of gravity.
Both conveyors have easy access for 100% clean out to eliminate
seed cross contamination, a critical element when planting
multiple varieties. A high torque 8 hp engine with electric
start and gear reducer provides the power to drive both conveyors.
A small compact self contained hydraulic power unit is used
to drive the horizontal conveyor, plus raise and lower the
unloading conveyor. The adjustable inclined unloading conveyor
can pivot 180° plus reach out 16 feet to help speed
refilling. In addition, the telescoping seed discharge chute
increases the length of reach to avoid having to reposition
during refilling. The hydraulic adjustable height feature
lets the unloading conveyor be easily raised to accommodate
filling bulk seed central fill systems offered on several
makes and models of planters.
